Jess Latham’s Portfolio

My name is Jessica Latham, and I am a junior student at Roger Williams University, double majoring in Public Relations and Spanish with a minor in Marketing. My coursework has provided me with a strong foundation in PR practices, such as organizational and audience research, and creating strategies and tactics to achieve a certain goal. I have made the Dean’s List all four semesters completed to date, reflecting my commitment to my academics. My hands-on experience as a waitress, working in the fast-paced hospitality/restaurant industry, has exemplified my skills in communication, adaptiveness, and multitasking skills in order to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment. This has sparked my interest in the more collaborative and relationship building components of Public Relations.
